A Connecticut swim coach has been arrested on accusations of sending inappropriate text messages to a 13-year old girl, according to NBC Connecticut.
28-year old Alan Marcel, a coach at the Park City Wolf Pack Swim Team, was arraigned on Thursday on charges of risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor after the girl’s mother discovered the text messages.
Police arrested Marcel after reading the text messages, calling them “explicitly sexual” according to NBC.
Marcel is no longer listed on the team’s website as a coach.
