Recently, Olympic and World Champion Charlie Houchin stopped by La Jolla to participate in the brain imaging research at UCSD (fellow Olympian Sara Isakovic is a research assistant in this groundbreaking area of neuropsychology). San Diego based sport photographer (and SwimSwam contributor) Mike Lewis, caught up with Charlie at his workout before he headed into the lab – here’s some of what he captured.

Houchin’s got it going on. Beyond training he’s the man behind a tech start up that helps summer swim leagues run their meets. (photo: Mike Lewis, Ola Vista Photography)
