My name is Emilee White and I grew up in Canyon Lake, California. I began swimming at the age of 13 in age group, but with my background of dance, swimming came naturally to me and I excelled in the sport. I swam all four years on my high school swim team as a varsity swimmer and was a CIF finalist my junior senior year. My junior year of high school, I changed swim teams and finished my swimming career at Fullerton Aquatics Sports Team, where I got to travel to other states for elite swim meets and got the opportunity to train at the Olympic Training Center.
I’m currently a student at the University of Utah, studying History and Journalism. History has been my passion for as long as I can remember and I love telling stories. My love for telling stories and talking was the reason why a close friend recommended Journalism. When I’m not in classes, which is most of the time, I’m at the gym working out or taking hot yoga classes.
