VIDEO INTERVIEW: Elizabeth Beisel loves Tokyo, might keep swimming through 2020

Elizabeth Beisel is still just beginning her post-collegiate career as a professional swimmer, but at the Minneapolis Grand Prix this week, she said she’s loved the experience so far.

SwimSwam caught up with Beisel, a multi-time Olympian and former NCAA star for Florida, to talk about her first half-year as a pro. Among the notable tidbits: Beisel loved the city of Tokyo, which she visited with FINA’s World Cup tour, and is considering continuing her swimming career through the 2020 Olympics, which will be held in Tokyo.

Beisel says her current plan is to continue competing at least through 2017.
