Jordan Decker Commits To Seton Hall University

Jordan Decker of the Mason Manta Rays gave her verbal commitment to swim for  Seton Hall University following a successful recruiting trip.

“From the beginning of the recruiting process until the end I felt very comfortable with the Seton Hall coaching staff,” Decker said. “They were upfront, honest, and made me feel welcome. After meeting the girls on the team I knew Seton Hall was the place for me.”

Decker will fit right into the New Jersey school with her freestyle, breaststroke, and IM talents.

With her current times, Decker would have made the final in the 100 breaststroke at last season’s Big East Conference Championships. She would have also managed to get into the consolation final of the 50 freestyle.

She sports a 1:05.43 100 breaststroke and a 24.20 50 freestyle. Not only will she be able to help her team grab individual points at the conference championships, Decker looks as though she could be a major asset to the Seton Hall relays.

Throw a 52.49 100 freestyle into the mix and Decker could swim on a multitude of freestyle and medley relays.

With a lot of their top performers graduating either after last year’s championships, or in their senior year this season, Decker will be crucial to filling up major holes on the Seton hall roster.
