Yoga for Swimmers (Video) – A Sequence to Increase Shoulder Mobility

One of the biggest areas for swimmers to address in a yoga practice is shoulder mobility. Many swimmers suffer from tight shoulders. That tightness can restrict range of motion, which will in turn will have a detrimental affect on a swimmer’s efficiency.

One of the keys factors to focus on when increasing mobility in the shoulders is to ensure that you are never sacrificing stability to gain a greater range of motion.

This short sequence will take you through a few simple poses that will increase your mobility while building great stability.
