The national office of YMCA Swimming and Diving recently announced that YMCA of the North Shore swim coach Janet Harty is the new Regional Representative for YMCA Swimming and Diving in the New England region. Janet is the head coach of the YMCA of the Northshore (YNS) Sharks program which includes more than 500 swimmers from ages 5 to 18 across six YMCA of the North Shore locations including Beverly, Marblehead Salem, Ipswich, Haverhill, and Gloucester.

She has developed strong relationships across the YMCA and USA Swimming communities and looks forward to building upon those relationships to facilitate greater understanding and cooperation in the region.
