World Championships Water Polo Tournament Groups Announced

The Draw for the men and women’s World Championship Water Polo tournaments took place just minutes ago in the future 17th FINA World Championships host city, Budapest, Hungary.

The groups’ composition unfold as follow:

Women‘s water polo draw

Group A: Italy (1), Brazil (2), Canada (3), China (4)
Group B: New Zealand (1), South Africa (2), Spain (3), USA (4)
Group C: Japan (1), Netherlands (2), Hungary (3), France 4),
Group D: Australia (1), Russia (2), Kazakhstan (3), Greece (4)

Men’s water polo draw

Group A: Brazil (1), Montenegro (2), Kazakhstan (3), Canada (4)
Group B: France (1), Australia (2), Italy (3), Hungary (4)
Group C: Spain (1), Serbia (2), Greece (3), South Africa (4)
Group D: USA (1), Japan (2), Croatia (3), Russia (4)

in addition the Draw for the FINA World Junior Water Polo Championships was also held in Budapest today.
