Christopher Roling, a current high school senior from Santa Clara, California, has verbally committed to swim for the University of California, Santa Barbara. Roling will graduate from Bellarmine Prep High School in May 2020 and join the Gaucho’s class of 2024.
Roling is a current year-round swimmer for Santa Clara Swim Club. He was a finalist at Speedo Winter Junior Championships – West along with being a 2018 and 2019 USA Swimming All-American.

With his current best times, Roling would have had multiple finals appearances at the MPSF Championships this year. Most notably, Roling would have placed 4th in the 200 butterfly (1:47.08).
At this meet, the Gauchos placed 2nd as a team.
Roling will begin his swimming career at the University of California, Santa Barbara beginning fall 2020.
