Williams’ Record-Setting Caroline Wilson on 400 IM: “It’s a Really Terrible Event”

Williams College’s Caroline Wilson won her fourth-straight NCAA title in the 400 IM on Thursday night at the Division III National Championships, and afterward she talked about the race. She describes aptly the love-hate relationship that all 400 IM’ers have with the event: “it’s a terrible event, but for some reason I like it.”

Wilson rode this swim to her 11th career NCAA championship, which ties her for the most all-time.

Thanks to the team from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference, the meet’s hosts, for putting together some great interviews from the meet.
