West Fargo Coach Steps Down as City Prepares to Receive Trials Pool

According to Colton Pool of the Inforum, Marsha Dahl, head coach of the West Fargo High School Packers swim team, submitted her resignation on March 29th.

Dahl has been a coaching fixture in North Dakota for a generation. She graduated from Fargo North High School and continued there in 1989 as the head boys’ swim coach. She also coached at the FM YMCA Gator Club and the West Fargo Flyers Swim Team throughout her coaching career.

In October of 2016, Dahl started her final season as the Packers head coach.

Currently, Dahl is the Aquatic Supervisor at L.E Berger Pool in West Fargo.

West Fargo purchased the 2016 U.S Olympic Trials competition pool that was in CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Neb., for the trials in June. The pool was purchased and donated by UP Aquatics for the West Fargo School District.
