Great Britain’s Adam Peaty lowered his own World Record in the 100 meter breaststroke on Sunday night in the final at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. He swam an absolutely unbelievable 57.13, winning by more than 1.5 seconds. South Africa’s Cameron van der Burgh took second with 58.69; USA’s Cody Miller won the bronze medal with a new American record of 58.87. (Read more about the Peaty’s record here).
