The first finals session featured many big names making their way to the top of the podium, including 2016 Olympic champs Katie Ledecky and Simone Manuel. Another highlight was South Korea’s Park Tae Hwan earning a FINA ‘A’ standard and as a result World Championship qualification with a 3:44.38 in the men’s 400 freestyle.
