Florida senior Caeleb Dressel had an incredible performance at his final SEC Championships last month, winning three individual titles along with three relay titles. His most impressive performances came in a pair of “off-events”, as he broke the NCAA and American Records in both the 200 IM and 100 breast, two events he had never swum at a championship level meet.

Dressel won’t swim those events again at his final NCAAs, instead opting back to his usual lineup of 50 free/100 free/100 fly.

Below, check out four of his races from the meet via ESPN on youtube. You can see those American Record swims in the 200 IM and 100 breast, along with his individual win in the 100 free and Florida’s win in the 200 medley relay, where he anchored in 17.92. Both the 100 free and medley relay were SEC Meet Records as well (he would go on to lower the 100 free mark on the lead-off of the 400 free relay).

My favorite part is during Dressel’s 50 spit when they focused on the Bama mom for 5 seconds.

Awesome job by ESPN to cut to a crowd shot in middle of the 200 medley relay, right as Dressel is about to take off.

This guy is getting personal videos on ESPN. I hope he’s able to do what Phelps did and take the sport into the next level in the public eye

Imagine going in ahead, splitting an 18.14 anchor, and losing. This is the reality of racing against Dressel. I realize that I’m getting old but man, these kids are fast.
