Wabash College Honored as Scholar All-America Team

Wabash College was honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America as a Scholar All-America Team for team’s work in the classroom during the 2015 spring semester.

The Little Giants produced a team grade point average of 3.27 at the end of the spring semester. Wabash was among 99 NCAA Division III men’s teams to receive the Scholar All-America Team award.

The Little Giants’ team GPA placed them in a tie for 33rd place with Oberlin College, two of six North Coast Athletic Conference teams recognized by the CSCAA. Joining Wabash and Oberlin were Allegheny, Denison, Kenyon, and Wittenberg.

To be selected as a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team, programs must have achieved a GPA of 3.00 or higher over the semester. A record total of 406 men’s and women’s teams from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as the NAIA and NJCAA met the criteria.
