VIDEO: Miami age groupers, coaches wish their older teammates luck at Australian Nationals

One of the unique elements to swimming is how the sport brings together age group kids with 20-something professionals on the same clubs. One cool outpouring of that are shows of support like the video above. The young swimmers and youth coaches of the Miami Swim Club of Australia put together this video, wishing their older teammates good luck at the Australian National Championships happening this week in Brisbane.

Between the big smiles, energetic kids and cool Aussie accents, you’ll catch a glimpse of what makes swimming so special: the chlorine-fueled bonds that bring together old and young, boys and girls, even breaststrokers and distance freestylers, all united under the title of “teammate.”
