Morgan Montgomery of the TAC Titans has committed to swim for the Vermont Catamounts.

“I fell in love with everything about the school and town. Burlington is such a cool place. I’m so excited that I get to study and do what I love with an amazing team and group of coaches next fall. Go cats go!!”

Montgomery’s Top Times

  • 100 back – 59.32/1:07.99
  • 200 back – 2:05.61/2:23.92
  • 200 IM – 2:12.43
  • 400 IM – 4:39.35

Montgomery is better at longer races, thus her 200 back and 400 IM are her best events. At U.S. Summer Juniors this year, Montgomery led off the TAC Titans’ medley relay in 1:07.99, and helped them finish 17th overall.

Vermont finished 3rd out of 5 teams at the America East Championships last February. At those champs, Momtgomery would’ve been within tenths of B-final scoring in the 100 back and 200 IM. In the 400 IM, she would’ve easily made the B final, and she would’ve secured an A final appearance in the 200 back.

Vermont’s sole A finalist in the 200 back last year will both have graduated by the time Montgomery gets to campus, which makes for a timely arrival.
