USC brought 21 swimmers and 6 divers to the Pac 12 meet and all of them scored. That’s a team effort.

Good to see this performance because it shows swimmer development, particularly by the frosh swimmers Vose and Wooden and Scott who all improved noticeably from high school. In recent years it was frustrating to see local SoCal girls like Eastin and McLaughlin go north to Stanford and Cal.

Congrats to USC on their well earned first Pac 12 title. Using their superior numbers, the Trojans dominated their closest opponents in the B and C finals to gain their advantage.

A B C RELAY Total Points
USC 771 358 73 280 1,481
STAN 793 189 60 302 1,344
CAL 693 273 54 286 1,306

That was certainly a winning recipe in this meet, but may not serve them as well in two weeks.
