USA Water Polo To Host 8 Nation Tournament In Newport Beach

The USA Water Polo Men’s Senior National Team will host the FINA Intercontinental Tournament this March 30 through April 4 at the Marian Bergeson Aquatic Center on the campus of Corona del Mar High School in Newport Beach, CA.

A full roster will be announced before the start of competition with Olympic veterans Tony Azevedo (Long Beach, CA/Stanford/NYAC), Jesse Smith (Coronado, CA/Pepperdine/NYAC), and John Mann (Newport Beach, CA/California/NYAC) expected to lead Team USA into action.

All the water polo competition begins on Monday, March 30 with Brazil taking on Australia at 3:30pm pt. The United States opens play against Canada on Monday evening at 8:30pm pt. Other teams competing include Argentina, China, Japan, and Kazakhstan.

All matches will be streamed live, free of charge, at YouTube.com/USAWP.
