TYR Sport Re-signs 4x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion Josh Amberger

TYR Sport is proud to announce the resigning of 4x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion Josh Amberger to its roster of sponsored athletes.

Having leapt into the world of professional triathlons at just 18 years of age, Josh Amberger certainly knows a thing or two about hard work. Winning his first IRONMAN 70.3 in Singapore after having only raced the distance once prior, he has since taken home two wins at 70.3 Port Macquarie,as well as an impressive win at 70.3 Western Sydney.

With podium finishes in races all over the globe, Josh is recognized within the sport for both his impressive swim and equally topnotch cycling. No stranger to winning first out of water accolades, this Australian sensation has only begun to leave his mark on the sport. Most recently, he placed 2nd at Dubai 70.3 and 3rd at Geelong 70.3.

“I couldn’t be happier to be working with TYR for another two seasons. This will be my 4th consecutive year with the brand and they are an integral part of my success. From swimming laps at my training pool to throwing down the fastest swims on the race course, TYR has me covered. I can look forward to using the Freak of Nature wetsuit and Torque Pro Swimskin in many more IRONMAN 70.3 events, Escape from Alcatraz and my debut IRONMAN attempt forthcoming in May.”

“Team TYR is truly thrilled to sponsor and support Josh Amberger,” began Matt DiLorenzo, Chief Executive Officer of TYR Sport. “We believe in his talent, and we cannot wait to see how he grows throughout his career.”
