Texas Gold’s Lauren Glenn Commits to Henderson State University

Texas Gold Swimming’s Lauren Gold has decided to swim for Coach Coak Matthews at Henderson State University, beginning in the fall of 2017.

“I chose Henderson because the team made me feel like I was at home and everyone seemed like they were part of a big family. The coaches and the team were great to be around and I felt like I would fit in perfectly. I can’t wait to continue swimming and my academics at HSU. Go Reddies!”

Glenn is a senior at East View High School in Georgetown, Texas. Swimming for Texas Gold Swimming and head coach Bill Sprague, Glenn was a multi-event finalist at TISCA, where she competed in the 400 IM, 200 fly, 500 free, and 200 free.

Her top SCY times are:

  • 500 free – 5:25.04
  • 200 free – 1:59.56
  • 100 free – 56.82
  • 400 IM – 4:49.86
