Meghan Small is a competitive swimmer who represents the United States internationally. Coming out of high school, Meghan Small was SwimSwam's #1 Recruit, having already won a silver medal at the 22015 Pan Am Games as a junior in high school. Small committed to swim at the University of Tennessee. College (Tennessee) 2016-2017 Small made an enormous impact in her first year as a Volunteer. She won the SEC title in the 200 IM in a school record 1:53.31, as well as finished third in the 400 IM (school record 4:04.93) and fourth in the 200 back (school record 1:51.91) at the SEC meet. Small was also part of the third place 200 free relay, third place 400 medley relay and sixth place 800 free relay teams. At the NCAA Champs as a rookie, Small finished ninth in the 200 IM (1:53.91) and 400 IM (school record 4:04.30), as well as 29th in the 200 back (1:53.72). 2017-2018 Small continued to be a weapon for the Vols as she switched up her primary events, trading the 200 back for the 200 fly.
