DI Navy Sinks JHU

Competing against DI Navy and led by the powerful trio of Bogdanovski, Kitayama and Greenhalgh, the Johns Hopkins Jays posted some fast times in the meet on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to overwhelm the Mids, and Navy triumphed, 137-123 (W) and 135-119 (M).

Johns Hopkins beats The College of New Jersey; Greenhalgh breaks 20 Year Old Pool Record

The Johns Hopkins men’s swimming team won 10 of 14 events to defeat visiting TCNJ, 160-102, Wednesday morning in the Blue Jays’ first home meet of the season. The highlight of the meet came in the second event when freshman Andrew Greenhalgh broke the pool record in the 1650 Free.

So, after some heavy duty training, December’s midseason meets gave us all some fast swims to marvel at and enjoy. But the big question on everyone’s mind is always – so what next? Johns Hopkins Women Best Marywood and St. Francis (PA) at Thomas Murphy Invitational

The Johns Hopkins women’s swim team won eight of 13 swimming events to earn wins over Marywood and St. Francis (PA) at the annul Thomas Murphy Invitational. Hopkins defeated Marywood, 270-87, and St. Francis, 225-106, but suffered a 207-156 loss to host Loyola as the Blue Jays improve to 3-1 on the season.
