The Arizona women rolled, while the Arizona State men won a close battle on Saturday, but all 4 squads had noteworthy times to close their regular seasons.

Other notable swims included a Team China podium sweep in the women’s 400 free, and another triple-event session for Katinka Hosszu.
20-year-old Yufei Zhang edged out Katinka Hosszu, who swam the 200 back and 400 IM in addition to the 200 fly Friday night.
The USC men prevailed against 153-147 over ASU in a tight dual meet Friday, while the USC women won handily, 176-122.
Silja Kansakoski was crucial in the ASU women’s defeat of FSU today.
ASU won 27 of 32 events against Utah in their first dual of the season.
Arizona State only earned 2 medals in 2016: A bronze from the 400 free relay and a bronze from Christian Lorenz in the 200 breast. In 2017, they quadrupled that with 8 total medals.
USC’s defending champ Reed Malone will take on the 500 free this morning, but he’ll be up against a loaded Stanford distance group that includes Liam Egan, True Sweetser, and Grant Shoults.
Santo Condorelli had a win in the 50 free for USC, as the men battled to what was initially a tie with ASU on Friday. A later re-score gave the meet to Bob Bowman’s crew. The Trojan women were victorious over the Sun Devils.
Arizona State completed a sweep of their away meets this weekend, with the men and women both picking up a victory against BYU today.
Cameron Craig and the Arizona State freshman class led the day at the Sun Devils’ intrasquad meet.
World record-holder Cesar Cielo made an appearance at the Western Zone’s Four Corners Sectional, going 22.28 in the 50 freestyle.
