SwimJams: Eugene Godsoe Releases Remix to Zedd Track

Professional swimmer and Pan Am’s team member Eugene Godsoe, also known as “Eego” in the music/SoundCloud world, has just released his latest track: a remix to “I Want You to Know” by Grammy award-winning artist Zedd, featuring Selena Gomez.

This track is Godsoe’s entry to Zedd’s “Cover Me” contest, with prizes including studio time with Zedd, a meeting with Interscope Records, $10,000 cash, and more.  The contest results aren’t primarily driven by YouTube hits, but greater viewership would certainly give Godsoe a boost.

The former U.S. National Teamer and four-time World Championship medalist has been putting greater focus on electronic music recently, adding another creative layer to his well-known talents on piano.  With some solid performances at the Arena Pro Swim Series meets in Charlotte and Santa Clara, Godsoe is doing final preparations for next week’s Pan Ams in Toronto, where he will be competing in the 100 back, 100 fly, and 400 medley relay.
