Swim Job: TAISM seeks Aquatics Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

TAISM is pleased to announce an excellent new opportunity for an Aquatics Coordinator. We know that being an overseas educator is more than educational credentials and experience qualifications. If you’re confident, flexible and innovative – with an adventurous spirit – we want you to be a part of a team that creates the best possible learning environment for our students.

Reporting to the designated Principal, the Aquatics Coordinator will be joining a dynamic team of top-notch professional educators who teach – and learn – in a beautiful purpose-built facility where an American and international student body flourishes in a dynamic school environment. The school campus features 2 indoor competition-size sports halls, a 25 meter teaching competition pool, 2 regulation size grass sports pitches, a full-size outdoor covered sports court, 4 playgrounds and a physical education fitness center.

The ideal candidate for this Aquatics Coordinator role offers experience across a variety of age groups – ideally from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. You excel at and have experience in teaching swimming, including lifeguard training. You demonstrate a collaborative team approach in working with colleagues. You are skilled at organizing events and providing opportunities for students to participate in international interscholastic competitions. You have teaching experience in standards-based education, and you demonstrate a proven ability to create learning experiences adapted to the capabilities of diverse learners, respecting a variety of developmental levels. The Aquatics Coordinator is assisted by a full-time Swimming Assistant.
