Swim Job: Indiana State University seeks Women’s Assistant Swim & Dive Coach

JOB DESCRIPTION

Indiana State University is currently seeking qualified applicants for our Assistant Coach, Women’s Swimming & Diving.

The person in this position will assist the head coach in multiple areas. They will evaluate individual performance and provides leadership and instructions in areas of deficiency to student-athletes; assist with recruiting: phone calls, travel preparation, NCAA paperwork and compliance, recruiting weekends; recommend individuals for swimming & diving scholarships; counsels team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters; participate in the collection and analysis of tactical and statistical data of opponents/teams; assist in designing meet plans and strategies; study, evaluate, and recommend innovations in swimming & diving strategy and equipment; Work with swim meet software – Hy-Tek and Meet Manager; perform other duties as assigned. Rules Compliance is a central element in personnel matters for employees within the Department of Athletics and for those employees outside the Department of Athletics who are involved in NCAA rules compliance activities. These individuals must comply with all NCAA rules.
