Swim Across America launches 1st Youth Water Polo Tournament

Youth from across the state will converge to Raleigh, North Carolina, at the William H. Sonner Aquatic Facilities on November 16th, 2014 to participate in a water polo clinic lead by former Olympic players and tournament play. Players 18 and under will travel from all over the state to participate. Proceeds from this tournament, organized by the Triangle Water Polo Club and the first of its kind in history, will be donated to Swim Across America to help fund Cancer Research.

he North Carolina Statewide Youth Water Polo event on Sunday, November 16th , 2014 will draw new and experienced youth players from all parts of the State. Player check-in will begin at 12:30 pm and Olympic Skill instruction will begin by 1:30 pm. Following the clinic will be games divided by age 14-18, 13 & U and 10 & U Splashball©. An award ceremony and frozen yogurt social will immediately follow the games. Spectators are encouraged to attend and the event will be free and open to the public.
