North Wales, Pennsylvania’s Haley Muth has committed to Division III Susquehanna University for the class of 2023. Muth is currently a senior at North Penn High School.
“I chose Susquehanna University because of the amazing academic and athletic balance, as well as the welcoming team atmosphere,” Muth said of her commitment. “Looking forward to being a River Hawk!”
While Muth’s main events are the breaststrokes, she also competes in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly. At the Pennsylvania 3A Girl’s State Championships this year, Muth swam the 100 breaststroke in a time of 1:05.65 putting her in 18th place.
Muth will be joining a young Susquehanna breaststroke group including 2018-2019 sophomores Olivia Fravel and Brooke Boes and freshmen Paige Swartz, Tara Caucino, and Shannon McGoey. Fravel led that crew with a 1:05.65 in the 100 and a 2:25.97 in the 200 last season.

At Susquehanna’s 2018 Landmark Conference Championships, Muth would have placed 3rd with her best time in the 100 breaststroke and 6th in the 200 IM. She would have had finals performances in the 200 breaststroke and 100 butterfly as well.
Susquehanna won their 8th consecutive Landmark Conference Championship in 2018 and are looking for their 9th consecutive win with the aid of Muth.
