Illinois’ Samantha Stratford and Ohio State’s Lindsey Clary were named co-swimmers of the week in the Big Ten. Stratford won the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.94), 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.48) and 200-yard individual medley (2:03.82) to help Illinois beat out Michigan State. Clary won the 1000-yard freestyle (9:54.96), 500-yard freestyle (4:53.88) and 200-yard individual medley (2:04.08) in Ohio State’s win over Ohio University. Michigan State’s Madeline Sewell earned diver of the week honors. Co-freshmen of the week award winners were Illinois’ Megan Vuong and Michigan State’s Julia Oppedisano.

- Recorded first-place finishes in all of her individual events and added a third-place tally in a relay in Illinois’ dual meet win over Michigan State
- Finished first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.94), 200-yard breaststroke (2:18.48) and 200-yard individual medley (2:03.82)

- The 2014-15 Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns her first career Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award

Madeline Sewell, Michigan State
Jr. – Mason, Ohio – Mason
- Swept the springboard diving events in Michigan State’s dual meet against Illinois
- Scored 299.10 points in the one-meter event and 325.05 points in the three-meter competition, recording NCAA Zone qualifying scores in both events
- The 2014-15 Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns her first career Diver of the Week honor

- Recorded three first-place finishes and added a second-place touch in Illinois’ win over Michigan State
- Finished first in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.95), 100-yard freestyle (51.83) and 400-yard freestyle relay (3:27.65), and collected second in the 100-yard butterfly (55.95)
- Earns her first Freshman of the Week award
