2016 RIO OLYMPIC GAMES

After a thrilling men’s 4×100 freestyle relay last night in Rio, swim enthusiasts are already looking ahead to the 4×200 freestyle relay slated for tomorrow night.

One swimmer who will play a critical role on Great Britain’s team in that race is University of Stirling swimmer Robbie Renwick. Renwick was a member of his nation’s gold medal-winning 4×200 free relay at the 2015 FINA World Championships in Kazan.

Along with Calum Jarvis, reigning 200m freestyle World Champion James Guy and former Florida Gator Dan Wallace, the Brits secured gold ahead of the Americans in Kazan, snapping a stars n’ stripes winning streak in the event dating back to 2005.

Learn about 3-time Olympian Renwick in the video provided by Scottish Swimming. Within, Renwick offers perspective on how he’s just “one of many leaders” on the British Olympic team.
