Reece Whitley Reflects on NCAA Season

2021 PRO SWIM SERIES – MISSION VIEJO (#3)

After racing at the pro swim in Mission Viejo, Cal’s Reece Whitley was kind enough to speak with us about how he thought the last year has gone. Whitley says that he’s pretty happy with how training has gone, noting that whether he’s feeling good or not so good in the water, it’s all information moving forward. Reece doesn’t sugarcoat the fact that he’s not stoked on how NCAAs went, but he is grateful that he and the bears had the opportunity to race in Greensboro and feels good about moving forward into Olympic Trials.

My son got to meet Reece at the TYR Pro series meet. He was so kind to take a few minutes to chat with him. So happy for all his success.
