On Saturday, September 28, the Women’s Swimming and Diving Team at Princeton University will be hosting the 12th Annual Collegians Find the Cure 5K Run/Walk for breast cancer research. This annual event began in 2008, after an alumni was diagnosed with breast cancer. It aims to honor her and all who have been affected by this disease, as well as raise money to help find a cure. This year the team aims to reach their goal of raising $5,000, with 100% of proceeds going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

In the past 11 years of this event, the team has been able to successfully raise over $34,000. This would not have been possible without connecting with other swim teams and sports teams. For each year that breast cancer goes with no prevention or cure, the team aims to reach and raise more money to support that cause. This year, the team would like to invite you and others to join in their efforts. If you would like to help with the Collegians Find the Cure fundraiser, please consider giving at https://give.bcrf.org/fundraiser/2242850, or coming to Frist Campus Center at Princeton University on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at 8:15 AM to register for the race which begins at 9am.

The race also features an Honor Wall where those who donate can honor the person who inspired them to donate. It serves as a great reminder of why we walk or run on race day. Thank you to those who have given in previous years and those who donate this year. We look forward to finding a cure together.
