Fitter and Faster Swim Clinics is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Meghan Wenzel from North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, has verbally committed to the University of Georgia. Wenzel , the 2018 Pennsylvania AAA State Champion, will be joining the team of former Olympic diver and new UGA diving head coach Chris Colwell. Last year at the 2019 Southeastern Conference Championship meet, Georgia’s number one diver was junior Mckensi Austin who finished 10th on the 1-meter board, 4th on the 3m springboard, and 10th on the platform. However, it was freshman Frieda Lim who would score the Bulldogs their only points at NCAAs with a 15th place finish on platform.

Meghan has qualified for USA Junior National Championships for the last 8 years. Her best USA Junior National finish came in 2017 qualifying for the finals in all three events. Meghan places 7th on 1M, 9th on Platform, and 10th on 3M. Meghan also qualified for the USA Junior World Championship trials in 2018 finishing 13th place on 1M.
