Payton teDuits Verbally Commits to UW-Milwaukee

Payton teDuits, from Wisconsin, has verbally committed to join the Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers in the fall of 2014.

Payton is the younger brother of 2013 NCAA backstroking champion Drew teDuits of Wisconsin-Madison.

“I chose UWM mostly because their training program and coaching staff seem to be a perfect fit, and great in general,” teDuits said of the Panthers.

The younger teDuits is, like his brother, primarily a backstroker, with yards bests of 53.84/1:56.4.

TeDuits hails from the Madison – Edgewood High School program and the Madison-based Badger Aquatics Club.

This could be a big signing by the Panthers. If he continues to improve on the same trend he is currently on and the way his brother did in college he will become a huge scorer for UWM
