NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University women’s swimming defeated Campbell 137-124 on Saturday afternoon in the first meet of the season.
Rebecca Mayo got the meet started on a strong note for ODU with a win in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:55.82.
Sampson earned her first win of the day in the 100 backstroke with a time of 58.12, edging out teammate Alizee Brossier, who had a time of 59.21.
Enneking’s first win in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.07 and won the 100 freestyle in a time of 52.16.
Sampson piled her second win of the day in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:04.92. Brossier again finished second with a time of 2:05.47.
Ellett delivered a win for the Monarchs in the 200 breaststroke in a time of 2:26.33.
Stephanie Nardone added a second place finish for ODU in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.67.
Ellett completed the individual events with a second place in the 400 IM.
ODU won the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:54.44 to begin the day for the Monarchs.
