Alexandra Dicks, a junior at James Madison High School in Vienna, Virginia and a member of Nations Capital Swim Club (NCAP), has made her verbal commitment to swim for Florida State University in the fall of 2021. Primarily a sprinter, Dicks is .38 seconds away from obtaining an Olympic Trials cut in the 50 LCM freestyle.

“At the 2020 Virginia Class 6 High School State Championship meet, Dicks took home a bronze medal in the 100-yard freestyle (50.76) and a silver medal in the 50-yard freestyle (22.74) behind Tori Huske. At the 2019 NCSA Summer Swimming Championship meet, she finished in 19th place in the 50 LCM freestyle (26.91).

- 100 fly – 56.50
With her career-best times in the 50 and 100-yard freestyles, Dicks will be right in the thick of things when it comes to swimming on relays and scoring points in individual events for the Seminoles at the conference level. She will join breaststroker Rachel Moran as the early commits for the Seminoles’ class of 2025.
