Vietnam is hosting its National Junior Age Group Swimming Championships this week, and the nation’s youngsters have been rewriting the record books.

Most recently, both 13&under 200 fly records fell at the championships, hosted in Hanoi.

Hoang Kim Nguyen went 2:19.61 to break the boys record, hacking just over two seconds off the mark.

On the girls’ side, Ngoc Thi Tran was 2:29.62, chopping two seconds off the record in her gender as well.

Their HCM City team finished that session leading all clubs at the meet with 47 gold medals, well ahead of the next-highest club.
