Mellouli Explains Climb to Olympic Pool and Open Water Podium: GMM presented by SwimOutlet.com

Tunisian Olympic star, Oussama Mellouli, is a history-maker, the first African Male to win an individual Olympic gold medal in swimming at Olympic Games, 1500 meters freestyle at 2008 Games in Beijing, China.

At the 2012 London Olympics, he did it again, becoming the first person in history to win Olympic hardware in the pool and in open water swimming at the same Games.

Mellouli is back in action with his eyes set on the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

Great interview. Loved the joy you could see in his face and words as he described the London 1500 + 10K double. Both of those races were gutsy swims and you could see how much he enjoyed the racing.
