Ruta never gets into streamline position before the kick, she looks forward all the way during the stroke and recovery – no amateur bobbing. Add this to Gyurta’s kicking early in recovery and we have two best breaststrokers in the world swimming it opposite to “conventional” and wrong mantra of staying low and getting fast to streamline position to kick. Breaststroke is well and kicking 🙂
