Medal Tally After Five Days Of Competition At The 2014 Youth Olympic Games

Following the fifth night of competition at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games here is where the current medal tally is at for swimming. China is currently sitting in first place with only one more night to go. Tomorrow eight events will be swum for medals, so the results could sway very much during the last session of finals.

Chinese swimmers added two more golds to their tally to take the overall lead, Yu Hexin was the winner of the men’s 50m fly in 23.69 and the Chinese team won the women’s 4x100m freestyle relay. Egypt’s Ahmed Akram put his country on the board here in Nanjing with a win in the 800m freestyle.
