Unveiled today in Laguna Beach, CA, Olympic athletes and history making champions including Katie Ledecky, Ryan Lochte, Simone Manuel and Matt Grevers hit the stage to showcase the Venzo™ in front of the industry’s most prominent names and tastemakers. Working in conjunction with the TYR design team, Olympic athletes played an integral role in the production of this state-of-the-art technical suit. In addition, TYR is proud to note that the Venzo™ is manufactured in the U.S.A of imported goods, adding to the long list of attributes that set it apart from its competitors.
As the first and only technical suit in the industry to analyze drag from a microscopic perspective, the Venzo™ utilizes ultra smooth fiber to thread a frictionless, durable fabric. Designed with state-of-the-art Surface Lift Technology™, the suit prevents water from permeating its fabric, resulting in higher body position in the water.
In addition, a patent pending taping and inner textile design known as the suit’s Endo Compression Cage™ provides a shield of support for the abdominals, obliques and quadriceps. This cage not only creates a snapback effect in the water but also helps to increase distance per stroke. The latest and greatest in super duper race suits! It looks like they compress a males thighs and rear end and a woman’s thighs, rear end and torso even more! And…….it helps you float a little higher (which I thought was illegal) because water can’t permeate the fabric.
They are soooo fast the suit can go down the pool at 6 mph which is faster than any human can swim! Put every swimming world record on notice, they won’t last much longer!

Thank you Matt. I appreciate your honesty & forthrightness about how the ill-conceived 4 day turnaround from California to Pan Pacs really affected all you swimmers, especially early on. Hopefully other swimmers have let USAS know too. I believe Ms. Ledecky would have a thing or two to say as well.

Is anyone really excited for another suit thats nearly the same as every suit since the great ban of 2009 but costs more and more?
Yes. In a sport where success is decided very largely on how much drag you produce, people will typically pay large marginal increases in price for a very low percentage increase in performance. Especially since well-off swim parents, funded swim clubs, or sponsored athletes make up a giant percent of the market. These entities don’t blink twice at a $50 increase in price, but salivate at the thought of their swimmers touching out swimmer B next to them because swimmer B decided to wear the 2013 edition
I dont think there really is that much of a difference anymore and the prices are very limiting. Theres no reason a full body suit was $350 and now a jammer is a similar price. These companies are obviously taking advantage of what you stated
