Laure Manaudou, basketballer Tony Parker to represent France’s sport promotion campaign

This fall, former Olympic gold medalist Laure Manaudou will join professional basketball player Tony Parker in promoting France’s Sentez-vous sport program, an initiative designed to get more French citizens involved in sports and physical activity.

Manaudou, a former world record holder in multiple freestyle races, was announced as a Sentez-vous Sport representative earlier this week at a presentation the campaign gave to French officials.

Parker, a French basketball star currently competing in the NBA Finals for the San Antonio Spurs, and Manaudou will be doing the brunt of their promotion in September, between the 13th and 21st, according to FranceOlympique.com.

The campaign targets different sectors on different days of that week, putting on activities to introduce French people to new sports and physical exercises. September 17th focuses on school-age kids, the 18th and 19th on colleges and Universities, the 18th also on businesses and the 20th and 21st on the general public.
