Ozaukee Aquatics star Katie Drabot was named the Wisconsin LSC Senior Swimmer of the year after her impressive season. Drabot, who will swim for Stanford starting next fall, holds 41 different Wisconsin LSC records across different age groups.
This season, she set records in the 17-18 age group for the 100y, 200y, and 500y free, along with both IMs, while breaking an LCM record in the 100m free. Additionally, her times this season set Wisconsin senior age group records (open) in the 200y free, 200y and 400y IM.
Drabot’s most impressive meet was the 2015 Winter Jr. Nationals (West) in December. There, she won a whopping six individual events which included the 50, 100, and 500 free, the 100 fly, and both the 200 and 400 IM.
She also performed well with a heavy schedule at the 2016 NCSA Spring Jr. Nationals, winning the 100 and 200m free as well as the 50m fly.

Drabot will be one of the high-profile 18& unders competing at the upcoming Olympic Trials, which begin at the end of June.
She must believe in her.
An olympic qualification for the 4X200 free relay is possible.
A time around 1.57 low in final will be probably necessary.
Not out of reach at all for Miss Drabot.
