INTERVIEW: Triple Junior National Champion Sierra Schmidt Discusses Juniors, Training At NBAC

SwimSwam’s Anne Lepesant had a chat with Sierra Schmidt, unattached out of North Baltimore, at the conclusion of 2014 Junior Nationals.

Schmidt won the 400 free (4:10.92), 800 free (8:34.58), and 1500 free (16:24.09) at Juniors. She will compete in those three events, as well as the 400 IM, at US National Championships this week, with the hopes of making the 2014 Junior Pan Pacs team.

Here she discusses her move from Germantown Academy to North Baltimore Aquatic Club, her performance at Juniors, and her goals for Nationals.
