The Greensboro Aquatic Center in North Carolina, above, will play host to the 2022 YMCA Short Course National Swimming Championships.
After a two-year hiatus, YMCA of the USA plans to revive its summer long course national swimming championship meet in 2022.
In conjunction with its 10-year anniversary, the Greensboro Aquatic Center announced nine events it will be hosting in the coming years.
The 2020 and 2021 YMCA National Championships were canceled because of the pandemic, but competition will resume in the spring of 2021.
Greater Somerset YMCA’s Matt Fallon finished atop the results in four different boys’ events: 100 breast, 200 breast, 200 IM and 400 IM.
Fallon collected his second gold medal of the meet, following his win in the 200 IM on night 1 of the meet with a 5-second PB of 1:45.67.
GSCY’s Matt Fallon dominated in the 200 IM, touching in a time of 1:45.67 to cut 2 seconds off of his best time on night one of the Y Festival in Voorhees.
Led by the McEnroe sisters, Spartaquatics won all of the women’s events on the final night of the YMCA Spring Festival in Greensboro, including a relay sweep.
