Is there anything more devoid of soul or emotion than these absurd FINA World Cup meets? On the other hand, they have that hip “Night of the Swimming Dead” Zombie apocalypse vibe going for them though.

Is it too late for David Nolan to hop on a flight for the next few of these? So many events in his wheelhouse that are not that deep. I’d think he’d break even on airfare after day one and any other top three places would be profit. Trying to think of other post-grad/pro/national teamers or similar who’d be well-suited to make some money here.

100 breast is just before the 100 fly, and 50 free is just after the 200IM.

I am surprised there aren’t more Germans entered. So few entries…the atmosphere must be poor. FINA is pouring all this money into the circuit ….when will they realize it is a waste. Maybe they should use the money for drug testing?
