Hong Kong Released 2014 Asian Games Roster

Hong Kong released their roster for the 2014 Asian Games which will be held in Incheon, South Korea starting on the 19th of September.

The Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong will be sending a team which includes three divers, 24 swimmers (11 women and 13 men), 8 synchronized swimmers, and men’s and women’s water polo teams.

At the 2010 Asian Games, Hong Kong swimmers came home with a total of two bronze medals, ones that they earned in the women’s 4x100m medley relay and 4x100m freestyle relay.

Siobhan Haughey will be one of the top swimmers on the Hong Kong roster as she’s had plenty of success at the Youth Olympic Games which includes a silver medal in the 100m freestyle at this year’s Youth Olympic Games with a time of 54.61. That time was off her best time of 54.47.

There’s a good chance that she’ll be able to swim on the 4x100m freestyle relay where two swimmers (Sze Hang Yu and Stephanie Au) who were on the bronze medal winning 4x100m freestyle relay in 2010, will most likely also get spots.

Complete list of swimmers
