The Turkish Swim Federation views the Comen Cup higher ranking than the Black Sea Cup. The Alternate team has gone to Varna, Bulgaria whereas, the first ranked swimmers will be attending the Comen Cup in Burgaz, Bulgaria on 21-23 June.

This may be of interest to some fans out there – Jack Cartwright, runner up at last years’ Pan Pacs in the 100m free behind Chalmers, is entered only in the 1500m freestyle at the upcoming Australian World Titles selection trials. Totally surprised by this – I’m waiting to hear why.

I’ve been waiting to see what he can do at the trials so a little shocked by this. I wonder if Swimswam can investigate??

Yes, in July.
Many interesting meets in June: Mare Nostrum Tour, French Open, Sette Colli, Chinese Summer Champs and so on.
Obviously Aussie trials the most expected (I think the most expected trials of the whole season considering how fast have been Australian Nats in April). And then (Croatian Nats) perhaps some news about youngster Franko Grgic, already capable of a 14.56 in the 1500 free and a 7.53 in the 800 free.
