Gregg Troy Rehashes Florida’s Dual Meet Against Georgia

Florida head swimming and diving coach Gregg Troy had his regular press-conference today to talk about the Florida-Georgia meet from last Friday, and looking forward to Thursday’s match-up with Alabama.

Troy said that while he “never likes losing,” but highlighted swimmers like Natalie Hinds, Sinead Russell and Elizabeth Beisel.

While he was overall pretty happy, he said that his women (who lost) overall raced a little better than his men (who won).

He also mentioned that they might “need to think about” trying Elizabeth Beisel in some distance freestyles in championship season, and hinted that we’re going to see some different events from a lot of people against Alabama.

See the full meet recap here.

Thanks, as always, to Florida’s sports information staff for providing this video.
